An easy line on low angle slopes, great for people new to touring or when its better to be on low angle terrain.

Description

The parking is in Ceillac, be aware that you have to go through the village to park and it is often very icy on narrow streets. This can be an issue if in a big car or van.

From the parking head up the road towards Chalmettes village its normally shut and covered in snow. At a split in the road take the lower road by the river, it winds through a small gorge and over a bridge. Continue on the road towards Chalmettes village. From near the village climb the slopes towards the Tête de Jacqette. There are lots of options its quite open, so just make your way up the terrain that looks the best. You can finish at the summit or on the ridge either side of the summit.

Descent

Ski the open face back towards the Chalmettes village. Once on the road its a mix of poling and skating and trying to make the most of any down hill sections to get back to the parking
