Description:
Nestled in the huge durance gorge are a series of via ferratas with something for everyone. There is a fee to access these routes, around 7€ and it is well worth the money.
This is a well set up venue, there is a reception area where you sign in, you can hire via ferrata equipment, and be show how to fit it and how it works (great for those who are new to via ferrata or need a recap).
Description
There are two ways to access the black route, the first is to do the green route as a warm up, as this leads to it. The second is to walk around (approx.10 mins), follow the signs up the sloping path, past a cabin, then down past the end of the green route. Follow the cable leading down to the start next to the river. The route traverses left and then crosses a series of bridges back and forth, before gaining height up a big face to a path with a wire bridge. The path leads down to a small bridge and an ascent of the big face opposite, from the summit a path leads back under the pipe to cross back over a big rope bridge to finish near the end of the red by the hydro pipe.
