A short walk in the high mountains, great views and a refuge to get refreshments
Description:
Take the footpath at the end of the parking and go down towards the river, follow the footpath west. It climbs up some zig zags and then traverses west, keep going and you come to a boulder field the site of an old cabane. Just after this you cross a stream, there should be a small wooden bridge (planks of wood), be aware if you do it very early in the spring they may not have been put in place yet, as they are taken down in the winter. After the bridge walk up the valley, you should see the refuge on top a rock outcrop, the routes goes below the refuge traversing past it on rocky terrain and then cuts back on itself to the refuge.
